- oKIT_000 The Opus v0.0 installation system
- -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
-
-
- This is the installation archive for OPUS.
-
- How it works:
-
- 1. Please make sure that you have the following
- archives on the default drive and sub-directory:
-
- OCTL_000.ARC
- OREF_000.ARC
- OHLP_000.ARC
- OMSC_000.ARC
- OEXE_000.ARC
-
- 2. You should have already extracted the contents
- of this OKIT_000 archive.
-
- 3. Type MAKEOPUS to begin installation.
-
- That batch file will extract all the files you need,
- create any sub-directories you don't have, and put
- the files where they need to be.
-
- Opus will be installed on drive C: in a sub-directory
- called "C:\Opus\". Other sub-directories may be
- created.
-
- The installation system has been instructed not to
- over-write any existing files.
-
- We suggest you let the batch file do all of the
- installation for you. If you need to move things
- to another drive, you can do that later. If you
- absolutely must install Opus on a "non-standard"
- drive or sub-directory, you must do so manually.
-
- 4. After MakeOpus has finished, read the READ.ME file
- for further information. There are a half dozen or
- so manual steps you have to take to complete the
- installation. Those steps are described in the
- Read.Me file.
